We booked a room with sea view and it was great, the room was spacious and just as pictured. The place is easy to find using a GPS but beware of the very steep uphill streets. There are about 5 parking spots on-site but 3 of them are covered and the street is so narrow, the person from the hostel ...

Appartment in front of the sea in the Natural Park of Cabo de Gata
The place was super cute, we absolutely loved the deck view and the beach was a short hike away. We were able to swim a little even in late November and the stargazing was wonderful. Would absolutely recommend!

2 miles (3 kilometers) from the heart of San Jose is the Hospederia Rural Los Palmitos. This is a a good option for visitors who are looking for economical options. The Hotel Atalaya is an alternative affordable hotel in San Jose.
The Hotel Cala Grande can be found 10 miles (16 kilometers) from central San Jose. Another alternative is the miKasa Suites & Spa, which is located 16 miles (25 kilometers) away. Other options are the Cabogata Mar Garden and the Cabo Gata Plaza Suites.
Once you've really explored San Jose, why don't you explore a bit further afield? The Andalucia area is home to plenty of things to offer. Andalucia is well known for its beaches. Commonly visited vacation sights are ruins, castles and old towns. Active visitors can also get involved in snowboarding in the area.
35 miles (60 kilometers) to the west of San Jose, you will find El Ejido, where you can enjoy Club Nautico de Almerimar and Guardias Viejas Castle. A few Travelocity-listed El Ejido places to base yourself include the Hotel Golf Almerimar and Hotel Almerimar. Or, you could stay in Roquetas de Mar, 30 miles (46 kilometers) west of San Jose, where you can pick from the Evenia Zoraida Park and Evenia Zoraida Garden. During your time in Roquetas de Mar, make sure you venture to the Gran Plaza Mall and Club de Golf Playa Serena.
